Ski Schools

We’ve heard great things about Oxygéne Ski & Snowboard School. They cater for all ages and levels of capability. They have a great team of friendly instructors who are patient and focus on the fun of learning to ski. The instructors understand the needs of both beginners and advanced skiers, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace.

Oxygéne also has a fantastic rental store located on the same premises as the ski school reception. They supply outstanding equipment, including rigorously serviced skis, snowboards, boots and helmets of the highest quality. A free delivery service is available.

We have also heard good things about The Development Centre. They offer private ski lessons for any level, from beginner to advanced skiers. These lessons are fantastic for children and teenagers. You can book for one to one tuition, or alternatively with a group of family and friends. Regardless of whether you learn as a group or as an individual, you will get to set your own specific goals and learn at your own pace.

Childcare

For childcare, we’d suggest Jelly and Ice Cream. They provide childcare both on and off the snow, for single children or groups. Additional nannies will be provided according to the size and mix of the group. All of the nannies from Jelly and Ice Cream are CRB checked, first aid trained and highly experienced, many of them to the highest level of professional qualifications.

The nannies will go to your chalet, apartment or somewhere with a familiar environment to take care of your child/children. Care days will be planned according to the child/children’s individual desires and weather conditions. The nannies will bring boxes of toys, arts and crafts, playdough and other games to your accommodation, and are happy to prepare midday meals.

nannies will deliver to, or/and collect from ski school. It can be arranged so that the nannies take your littles ones up the mountain to meet you for lunch. Trips to the farm, snowman building and sledging are among many other fun activities that can be organised for the children. Ice skating and swimming can be arranged according to parents discretion.

Equipment Hire

As we previously mentioned, the Oxygéne Ski & Snowboard School also have a rental store available. They provide equipment of the highest quality and can deliver to you free of charge.

Another rental store we’d suggest is Ski Republic, who simply offer swift transactions on great value equipment.
