About Val d'Isere Ski Resort

Considered by many to be the world's premier ski resort, Val d'Isère is hard to fault, offering some of the best skiing anywhere together with exciting and lively après ski. The heart of Val d'Isère dates back to the 13th century, complementing its higher, more futuristic neighbour, Tignes. Between the two, there are around 97 ski-lifts whisking you in all directions up to heights of over 3450m (11,340ft), including the glacier on the Grande Motte, guaranteeing excellent snow.
