In the mornings you can collect your boots from the heated boot room and ski straight down to the lifts. The town centre is only 6-8 minutes walk away giving you the choice of easy access to Val d'Isère's lively après ski or a peaceful evening in by the fire. The chalet was partially remodelled during the summer and now benefits from a sauna to help ease away any aches and pains from a days skiing.
Located on the ground floor of this Savoyarde style building, chalet Renard is very comfortable with pine panelling, open fireplaces and a marvellous sun deck. The living and dining rooms are spacious and offer two separate areas for you to relax in. All rooms, although small, have ensuite or adjacent facilities and there is a constant supply of hot water. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | There will be a Champagne reception on the first night of your holiday.
Breakfast can be as hearty or as light as you wish. There is fruit juice, yoghurt, cereals, porridge and preserves with freshly baked bread delivered each morning. A hot breakfast is also cooked on request until 9am (6 days).
Then there’s the treat of afternoon tea - with homemade cakes, biscuits or savoury and plenty of fresh bread and preserves laid out for you on your return from the slopes. High tea can be provided for children after 6 pm if required.
Dinner, the highlight of the evening, starts with pre-dinner drinks and canapes in the lounge, before an excellent three course meal. Wine accompanies the meal (a choice of 3 reds and 3 whites) and a selection of local cheeses will also be available, served with port. Tea and/or coffee and mints follow.
The chalet staff will have one day off during the week (usually Thursday) for you to enjoy the delights of the local restaurants. On this day you will be able to help yourself to a buffet style continental breakfast.
Rooms will be made ready in the evening whilst you are at dinner. The bed will be made ready, the bedside lights will be switched on and water will be placed next to your bed.
The hosts will cater for all individual requirements, including vegetarians, special diets and allergies - just let us know before you travel.
This holiday includes extras such as slippers, bathrobes and luxury aromatherapy toiletries, English newspapers and a fruit bowl. |
