Chalet Cristal 4, Val d`Isere is situated on the second floor of Chalet Cristal; this chalet apartment has four bedrooms all with full en-suite facilities. The open plan lounge and dining area has plenty of comfortable seating and a wood-burning stove. The large picture windows offer wonderful views across to the pistes, with a door leading to a large South West facing balcony. Chalet Cristal has free Wi-Fi internet access.
Chalet Cristal has a superb location, situated away from the main road in the old hamlet of La Daille (1800m). It is only 150m from the La Daille telecabine, the Etroits chairlift, and the "Funival" a high speed funicular that carries skiers to the top of Bellevarde (2800m) in just a few minutes. From there is a huge choice of ski pistes including easy access to Tignes. You can ski back to about 100m from the chalet Cristal, the same point as the Val d`Isere World Cup Downhill finishes.
The centre of Val d`Isere is a 15 minutes’ walk from Chalet Cristal 1. Alternatively you can use the free bus service that operates around the Val d`Isere throughout the day and continues until 2am. The nearest bus stop to the chalet Cristal is only 100m away for the short ride to the centre of Val d`Isere. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | Breakfast, afternoon tea and 3-course evening meal with wine for 6 days (self-serve breakfast for the chalet staff's day off).
For breakfast you can eat as much or as little as you like. Choose from fruit juice, cereals, muesli, fresh French bread with butter and preserves, as well as cooked eggs, porridge or one of the hot options and of course tea or coffee.
For afternoon tea, the most informal meal of the day, help yourself to home made cake or scones and biscuits, either eaten at the table or relaxing.
The evening meal is a dinner party style meal for adults and older children and is served at 8pm. For children aged 11 and under, high tea is served at 6pm, with child-friendly food. If you are travelling with children 12 years and older who require high tea, this must be requested prior to departure. If you are booking the whole chalet then you may all eat at the same time regardless of the age of the children.
Please mention any allergies or dietary requirements at time of booking and we will do our best to organise suitable catering for you. French supermarkets do not have the same range as British supermarkets, therefore if you have very strict dietary needs, it is helpful if you can bring a few items (e.g. gluten free cakes/biscuits for afternoon tea!) |
